It is depending of the type of plant/essential oil, but as an example we have to use 300 kgs of lavender flowers to get just one kilogramm of lavender oil
or 500 kgs of peppermint leaves are used for one kilogramm peppermint essential oil.
Most expensive to produce is rose essential oil - 8000 kgs bulgarian rose to produce a kilogramm of essential oil.
